Thursday
night was a resounding success at the Annex at Hollywood and Highland, raising
more than $20,000 to benefit the orphans of Haiti, and the
J.A. Clermont Memorial Foundation (JACMF) would like to take this opportunity to thank our
sponsors Wolfgang Puck Catering and Ultimat Vodka for making this
evening possible.
We would
especially like to thank Barbra Brass, Corey Taylor and Chef Matt
Bencivenga of Wolfgang Puck and the rest of their staff that
volunteered their time to support this most needed fundraiser. A very
special thanks also goes out to Ed Blinn, founder of Ultimat Vodka, for
co-sponsoring this event and kicking off the evening with a personal
donation of $1000 to the JACMF.
Special thanks go out to web designer Berly Ellis and Trevor Folley for their
time, support and
expertise for enhancing our website and signage respectively. Your
professionalism, creativity and friendship is greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Jamie Becker and Sola Mak at BeCAUSE events for your
tireless committment and guidance in making this a successful event,
and DJ's Scott Oster and DJ Bakdraft for donating their time for a
worthy cause. We
would also like to thank all the individuals and businesses that
stepped forward and embraced the concept of charity and brotherhood and donated
products and services for the silent auction (see the link above). Your support means the
world to us.
Two other fundraisers were held on JACMF's behalf, and
we thank you Gary Palmer, Robert Yeager and Mark Harris for stepping up
and embracing this cause as your own.
Lastly, we would like to thank all
those who attended, donated online and spread the word to help us raise
as much money as possible in such a short amount of time.
This
is just the beginning, as there will need to be a sustained effort to
help as many orphans as we can, so please continue to spread the word and donate when you can.
Thank you and God Bless.
The Orphans Of Haiti Thank You.
